Our novice program for the 2011-12 season has now finished. We plan to hold another program around the same time in 2012 depending on the local racing calendar. The below information will give you an indication about the program.

Canberra Bilbys Triathlon Club is offering a 7 week novice program which starts on Wednesday, 14 September and finishes with the first race of the Triathlon ACT novice triathlon series  on Sunday, 6 November.

The novice program is an excellent way to prepare for your first triathlon and has introduced hundreds to the sport since it first began in 2000.

The 2011 program will include the following:

• 7 weeks of coaching in swimming, cycling, running, and transition with an accredited coach at every training session
• Information sessions on physio, massage, cycling and running
• Welcome drinks activities
• End of program pasta party
• Entry into four novice triathlon races that are part of the Triathlon ACT 2011-12 Capital Summer Series
• Bilbys T-shirt
• Bilbys water bottle
• Bilbys Club Membership (expires 30 June 2012)
• Triathlon ACT Membership (expires 30 June 2012)
• Public liability and personal accident insurance through Triathlon ACT Membership (expires 30 June 2012), conditions apply and are available here

All sessions are included in the price of the novice program..  Please note, pool entry is not included in the price of the program and is $4 per swim (approximately).

The program is limited to 70 people and usually sells out within a week of opening.
