Cancer Council ACT Canada Day Fun Run
Canada and Australia have always had much in common, including a shared dedication to cancer research. Cancer is still the number one cause of death in Australia and research into this disease is our best hope for reducing the risk. While advances are being made in both countries, it is vital that we continue to support cancer research.
To that end, the volunteer organising committee are proud to invite you to join us for our annual run/walk for cancer research. All the money raised at this family event goes directly to the Cancer Council ACT, to fund research, education and support services in the ACT region.
Event details are as follows:
Date: Sunday 24 June 2012
Time: 10.00am
Location: Stromlo Running Track – Stromlo Forest Park, Uriarra Road
