WELLBEING

At the Canberra Bilbys Triathlon Club, we believe that the essence of triathlon extends beyond physical endurance; it encompasses mental resilience, emotional balance, and a supportive community. Our commitment is to foster an environment where every member thrives holistically.

Our Commitment to Wellbeing

Aligned with the principles set forth by AusTriathlon and the National Sport Integrity Commission, we are dedicated to:

  • Promoting Safe and Inclusive Practices: Ensuring that all activities are conducted in a manner that prioritizes the safety, health, and wellbeing of our members.

  • Upholding Integrity and Respect: Maintaining a culture where integrity, respect, and fairness are the cornerstones of all interactions.

  • Providing Resources and Support: Offering access to resources that support both mental and physical health, recognizing the interconnectedness of these aspects in athletic performance.

Integrity and Wellbeing Policies

In alignment with the National Sport Integrity Commission's National Integrity Framework, we have adopted policies that outline acceptable behaviors and the processes for addressing concerns. These policies include:

  • Member Protection Policy: Designed to protect the welfare, wellbeing, and health of everyone involved in sport.

  • Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine Policy: Aimed at protecting athletes from harm caused by the improper use of medicines, supplements, and illegal drugs.

For more detailed information on these policies, please visit the National Integrity Framework Policies page.
