Hi All

Here is a request to help out with a research study.

I am starting up a new study recovery study focusing on body composition, cold water immersion and performance, and I was hoping that you could share the info with bilbys members for me. Attached is the flyer and full information sheet but I have also put the basics below

Invitation to join a fundraising team for Fitz's Challenge PDF Print Email Address *

Hi Bilbys
I received this email from Mark Wallis, a Canberra Cyclist looking for team members for a CSIRO Fitz's Challenge fund raising team:

We have all seen the effects that Cancer has had on our teams, their families and the community, so when approached by one of our team to help raise funds for Cancer Support naturally we said yes.

Tony Hudson manages our Environmental Sustainability Team and is an avid cycler. Following the loss of his brother to an aggressive kidney cancer, as well as the recent diagnosis of another close family member with non-hodgkinson's lymphoma, Tony decided to help make a difference.

CSIRO is supporting Tony in his application to participate in the Tour De Cure 2015 Signature Event. Tour De Cure supports various cancer projects with a focus on research, support and prevention programs. A full list of the great work they fund can be viewed here at the Tour de Cure Website

Upcoming Run Sessions and Venues PDF Print Email Address *

Hi All,
ACT sportsground are closed for two weeks as of next week (Monday 22 September).
Thursday running for Thursday 18 September and the following 2 weeks.  6pm, move to University of Canberra.  Bring head torch just in case.  We run on the ovals near Allawoona St.  Park on grass on Ginninderra Dr if driving. (Not using Kaleen tomorrow as footy finals are over therefore probably no lights.)

Thursdays will return to AIS carpark to run in Bruce ridge once daylight savings commences.
Tuesday 23 September - Meet at Carpark at Eastern End of Diddams Close, Lake Ginninderra at 6pm.
Tuesday 30 September- Running on AIS Running track. Meeting in Carpark at 6.30pm for a warm up, etc.  We have the booking from 7-8pm.  This is the first novice night. Note later time.  It should be awesome as a one off,  however, I am not keen to use this as a permanent venue due to the later time and cost involved as we need to book the entire venue.
We return to Dickson on Tuesday nights from Tuesday 7 October. Yay.
cheers Gary
